Wedding season is finally over on my end and what a fantastic finish. Just got back from Katie and Taylor's wedding weekend and it was so much fun! I wish you and Jesse could have been there. Scanning the photos I realized I only have ones from her getting ready, so I'll post more once the photographer get's the photos up.
So see this book. Yep that was her gift to each bridesmaid. Isn't that amazing. She made each book herself! Oh and look, there's a map of Paris in the bottom of my book. Katie did an amazing job of planning every detail, down to choosing tones of lip gloss to match each bridesmaid.
So I had two favorite parts. The first was the rehearsal dinner. I love that idea so much, because it's all your closest friends and you have time to talk and then everyone makes toasts and you get to hear all about how much people love the couple and tuns of funny stories! I even made a toast! But I forgot my favorite stories... I think the best one I have of Katie is having brunch with her a few months back. It was early in the morning, for a Saturday, and she just was in top form. She's one of the funniest people I know and I'm sure there were tears of laughter that day! My favorite memory of Taylor was when we were looking for my new car and we met a guy in a shady parking lot at 9pm. Taylor looked at the car for two minutes, told the guy we'd call him, then said "You're not buying that car, it's stolen." Who knew? Not me.
I'm looking through the photos and wishing I'd taken more of the people! Anyway here are some of the details, everything was just breathtakingly beautiful!
Oh yes, but my other favorite part of all the festivities was the massive dance party afterwards. Everyone was in great form. It was so much fun! The wedding felt just right because all the people there just loved these two so much and were so excited for them and you could just tell! Here is one shot of lovely lady just after her make up was done! She should be a model. I know.
The Pastor said something I really liked. He said, " From now on, it's always going to be Katie and Taylor." And I love that. It's exactly how it should be! Congratulations to them.
